Crybabies

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry. ~Psalm 34:15

Why do infants cry? A Spanish electronics engineer has invented a device the size of a calculator to answer that questions. Frustration caused by not understanding his own son's nightly crying drove Pedro Monagas to spend three years visiting nurseries, figuring out the patterns of babies' cries. He built a microchip into his battery-powered "Why Cry" device to monitor the volume, pattern, and interval of baby cries. Within 20 seconds after a baby starts to cry, the device displays one of the five facial stressed, tired, hungry, sleepy or uncomfortable.

Too bad we adults don't have a "Why Cry"for each other. Wouldn't it be great if we had some sort of way to know exactly what was bothering people who we care about? Or better yet, wouldn't it be great to have one of those doohickeys for ourselves in those hours of darkness when the world seems like it's closing in on us?

Maybe you're not aware of this, but God has already installed a living "Why Cry" in every believer. He is called the Holy Spirit, and He takes up residence in people the very second they trust Christ.

Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who's in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. ~ 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Since the Holy Spirit lives inside us. He is intimately acquainted with every single solitary sentiment that we sense-in much less time than 20 secs! He knows exactly what is going on in our innards much more than we ourselves, which is one reason why He is called the Comforter.

Not only that, but the millisecond we cast our burdens upon God, the Holy Spirit comes alongside us and actually appeals to the Father for help.

And the Holy Spirit helps in our distress. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. ~ Romans 8: 26-27

Isn't that amazing! When you are depressed, downtrodden or distressed- you only need turn your eyes upon Jesus, and wait for the help of the Spirit. You don't even have to say the words.... He already knows and He is ready to rally round. In fact, the word "plead" that Pauls uses in this verse can be translated as "cry". So in effect, God loves us so much that we cry, He cries too.

So in the next time your times seem less than hunky dory and everything seems to be topsy-turvy , remember that you have a built-in "Why Cry", complete with a direct connection to the Throne Room of Heaven, and help is soon on the way.

Always remember, God is there for you. He's your best personal friend you can ever have. When you're being hateful, He gives you LOVE. When you're down and sad, He gives you JOY. When there seems to be a whole series of storms in your life, He gives you a PEACE of mind. When you are being hot-tempered, He gives you PATIENCE. When you are being clumsy and rough, He gives you GENTLENESS. When you are being doubtful, He gives you GOODNESS. When you lack trust and being troubled by your peers, He gives you FAITH. We also gives you MEEKNESS. If you feel reckless and hot-tempered, He gives you SELF-CONTROLLINGNESS.

The fruit of the Spirit will be given to you when you are in need. Always remember that God will be there for you. Always.....

Nokia 5130 XpressMusic

Hey guys. I'm really eyeing this new Nokia. I'm going bonkers, really. It's the new Nokia 5130 XpressMusic. And the best of all is that this new phone is incredibly affordable, even for the lower echelon of Malaysian community. The retail price is RM499. Concerning it's values, I say it's a steal. Haha. Guys, the only problem is that my dad is being abit PMS about it. Plus, I'm using my own money. Ang Pao money, which is that not even a cent comes from my parents. So I do not know what's my dad's problem, he wasn't straight forward. But I'll worry about that later. Hoping that he'll get back his senses sooner or later.

For now, I just need your opinions and vote. Red or Blue? I will be posting up a poll on the top right corner of the blog.

Sports Day 2009

RED HOUSE MARCH PAST 2009 Champions.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay. I've been rather busy these past few weeks. Extra classes and Paramount Championships. I promised that I'll post up pictures from the Sekolah Menengah Sri KDU Annual Sports Day 2009. And I shall. :)

Firstly and foremost I will like thank all the members of Red House March Past and other people that weren't involved but contributed some their time and effort in helping us achieve what we taught was just simply dream and could not become a reality. But it did.

Secondly, I have to apologize for the people who were intimidated for my behavior for the month when training. It's because I couldn't bear playing around and wasting precious time, as that was what we did last year. Since having the mindset that everything will turn out okay in the end, and taking things for granted. We lost that 2008. And it felt horrible, having all that effort wasted. So I changed my training method this year, fast and strict. No questions. Despite achieving the titile 'Champions', I learnt there are times when we should be very serious, and there are times to have fun. Apparently, later on I learnt the marchers had bad impressions of me since I was too serious and strict. And may have offended some. Therefore, I apologize. But at the very least, we won. :)

Here are the pictures.
