Why We Celebrate Christmas.
Christmas is about His glory
Christmas is about His grace
Christmas is a gift of love
Our Father gave us
More than just another story
About a special time and place
Christmas is a time to lift
A song of praise
Chorus
For God is with us
And we celebrate
The glory of His Presence
Christ has come
To fill our hearts with love
He came to save us
King of kings and Lord of lords
His Name is Jesus
God with us
Emmanuel has come
Angels fill the night with singing
God is reaching out to man
Bringing us a gift of hope
In Christ our Savior
More than just a time of giving
This is God's eternal plan
And Christmas is the reason
We can sing again

X-Ray Vision (Lust)

- Appreciating a beautiful girl isn't wrong. God made us to respond to beauty.
- Lust is the problem - undressing women with your mind, viewing them as sexual objects instead of priceless creatures made in the image of God.
- According to Romans 12:2, your mind can be disciplined. Tempting thoughts can be turned away, certain mental habits can be changed, and certain positive images can be summoned to replace negative ones.
- Remember, behind that gorgeous female body is a person with fears, dreams, hope and goals. She's probably someone's daughter, sister and someone's future spouse. That's why, it's important to treat her the way you want other men to treat the women you'll eventually marry. (That puts everything into a new perspective doesn't it?)
- Besides, one day when you get married, you can go up to her ex-boyfriends and thank him for not committing pre-marital sex.

We Are That Light. (Repost)

At these times, peer pressure is everywhere, they're are totally unavoidable. Most of the time, just the sake of impressing our friends, we follow what they say and what they do. Sometimes, they're even teenagers that get into drugs, alcohol, pornography, smoking, masturbating, pre-marital sex etc. Just because their friends are doing it. As simple as this, this way, teenager's lives are being destroyed. This is how Satan is trying to destroy us, he's preventing us from rising for our generation.
Stop being decieved! in Romans 12:2, it also tells us that our mind CAN be disciplined. Negative thoughts can be changed to positive thoughts, and tempting thoughts can be erased. Now, that'll make life so much better, isn't it? We should be the trendsetter in living for Jesus, instead of a follower who lives like the world.
We are the rising generation of this world, we are the salt of the world, we are the light of the world, the Rising generation WILL rise up to stand up for God and his word. When the world perishes, only 2 things will remain, the souls of men and God's word.
Let me tell you the story of Gideon.....
The land of Israel was full of sinful and cowardice people, and God allowed Israel to be conquered by the Midianites for 7 years. And then there was a famer by the name of Gideon, one day, while he was beating wheats, an angel of God suddenly, appeared to him and said : "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior." Gideon was a weak and poor farmer nevertheless, and his clan is the weakest in Mannesseh, therefore it'll be natural for him to think that God choose the wrong person, and he did. But God said: "I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together." and please note that Gideon from there on, became a one-man army. "strike down all the Midianites TOGETHER.".....
"Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, and he blew the trumpet, summoning the Abiezrites to follow him." ~ Judges 6:34
When the Lord fills us with the Holy Spirit, we can do many wonderful and great things. For instance, just as the Lord commanded Gideon, he commanded Martin Luther King Jr. to lead the black people in America to demand equal civil rights in the country. And so he did....
Gideon was ready of the uprising against the Midianites... And then God commanded Gideon to gather 22,000 men (for the army), but God felt that was too many, and so God commanded Gideon to tell the men which were scared, uninterested and unwilling to lay down their lives to leave.
When the time of war came (night), Gideon gave every each of the 300 men, a torch to put inside a pitcher, and a trumpet. And in the middle of the war, God commanded Gideon to tell the soldiers to shatter the pitcher, and then blow the trumpet. And then shouting: "A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!". And as the uncountable amounts of bright light suddenly emerging from the battlefield, and the very powerful power of the sound of the trumpets. Then, all the Midianites ran to and forth, crying out in confusion, and killed each other with their swords in the turmoil. And the vast number of the Midianites warriors was reduced to almost nil, and they fled far away.
You see, my friends, that light emerging from the darkness, that light that suddenly caused all the Midianites to kill themselves is our faith for our God, and that powerful power of the trumpet is our will to Stand up for God's word, and rise up against Satan.
Are we going to let the greater future, be endangered by Satan's pathetic lies? Are we just going to sit on our arses, while the world is being engulfed over sin and poverty? Are we going to let Satan rule over the world?
Then let's together, as the rising generation of this world, stand up for God's word and send Satan back to HELL! Let's do our part to welcome Jesus back, lay out the red carpet for Jesus!

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch
Randy Pausch, in this lecture, he describes he has pancreatic cancer, and the doctors said he only had a few months left of good health. Hence, the titled lecture, "The Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams". Randy Pausch died of the age of 47 in 25th July 2008.
In this lecture, he talked about:
1. Achieving own childhood dreams
2. Enabling other people's dreams
3. Lessons learned in life
Here are some good lines highlighted from the lecture:
Arrogance can limit what you can achieve in life.
Brick walls are there to separate us from the people who don't really want to achieve their childhood dreams.
Don't bail; the best gold is at the bottom of the barrels of crap.
Don't complain, just work harder.
"Head fake":
If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself, and the dreams will come to you.
End Times

These are easily the most exciting days to be alive, not just because of breathtaking advances in technology and science, but because we twenty-first-century Christians have more reason than any generation before us to believe that Christ will return to take us to His Father's house.
We are not the first generation to think like this, of course, for history reveals that many interpreted the events of their day as fulfillments of end-time prophecies. In some cases their date setting and speculation turned off more people than it inspired , but at least they were studying the Scriptures in an attempt to properly discern the times. Many of them sincerely longed for Christ to end the moral corruption and deterioration of their age by ushering in His kingdom of righteousness. All Christians consider such a possibility an infinite improvement on this war-weary and sin-cursed world.
We should not be surprised that those of past generation were confused about end-time events, for events, for even Daniel, one of the greatest of the Hebrew prophets, was commanded to "shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end" (Daniel 12:4;the "time of the end" refers to the days just before the beginning of the Tribulation, up to and including the seconds coming of Christ).
One reason for their confusion is that the sealing of end-time events made it more difficult to understand the "signs of the times." The "unsealing" or ability to understand end-time prophecy, according to Daniel, would wait until " many shall run to and fro, and the knowledge shall be increased" ~Daniel 12:4. Hardly anyone doubts that ours is a day when people are "running to and fro" and knowledge has increased. Both secular knowledge and the knowledge of prophetic truth have increased tremendously in this century alone. We believe we are on the verge of obtaining even greater prophetic insights than at any other time in the last two millennium.
That others before us were wrong about the nearness of the Lord's return should not deter us from searching the Scriptures, now that some of the end-time prophecies are being unsealed. The ability to rightly evaluate the signs in our times increasing almost daily, from the Israel by Russia and her Arab allies, to the emergence of China, many other events - all part of the end-time prophetic tapestry.
The technological capabilities of this generation permit us to see the fulfillment of events that were impossible just one generation ago. Christ could come today, and no prophecy of the end times necessary for His coming would go unfulfilled.
Soon enough, I will do a post regarding the Mayan Calendar, and about the people who are taking advantage of its existing popularity in order to gain money. Same concept as the Da Vinci Code. The Mass Media is very powerful, and it'll brainwash you.

Picture this.
林

The name of our village “Ooi Siang” originally meant “the village of the Ooi’s”. Great Great Grandfather changed the written text to mean “Grand or Great Village” – same intonation but different text meaning. The village was founded by Ooi’s but they had been overwhelmed by the Lim’s. Other settlers in the village carried various other surnames that included “Han”, “Foo”, “Tan”, and “Goh”.

Clash of the German Titans part 2
SLK 350
Engine: 3.5 litres, V6 engine
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
Horsepower: 272bhp@6500
Torque(ib/ft): 265@4900
Top Speed: 280km/h
Acceleration (0-100km/h): 5.4 seconds
The SLK 350 comes standard with Mercedes' 7G-TRONIC Sport seven-speed automatic. The transmission has a manual control mode operated via F1-style paddle shifters. SLK -- which means Sportlich (sporty), Leicht (light) and Kurz (short) -- is positioned below the considerably more expensive SL roadster. The SLK was actually Mercedes first hardtop convertible roadster, predating the SL hardtop. Priced at RM 523,888*
----BMW Z4 sDrive35i:
Z4
Engine: 3.5 litres, 6 in-line cylinders, Twin Turbocharges
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
Horsepower: 306bhp@5800
Torque(ib/ft): 300@5000
Top Speed: 294km/h
Acceleration (0-100km/h): 5.0 seconds
The more powerful twin-turbo sDrive35i has a maximum output of 300 horsepower, arriving at 5,800 rpm. The engine achieves peak torque of 300 pound-feet throughout a broad rev range from 1,400 to 5,000 rpm. The sprint to 100km/h takes just 5.0 seconds.
BMW says the motor is the first inline-six to come with twin turbochargers, High Precision Injection, and an all-aluminum crankcase. Weighing just 355 pounds, the motor owes its light weight to its composite magnesium/aluminum crankcase, cylinder head cover made of a special synthetic material and lightweight camshafts with aluminum VANOS control unit. RM558,800*
-----Audi TT 3.2 V6 Quattro
TT
Engine: 3.2 litres, V6 cylinders, with Quattro technology.
Drivetrain: Quattro (All-Wheel)
Horsepower: 250bhp@6300
Torque (ib/ft): 236@3000
Top Speed: 282km/h
Acceleration (0-100km/h): 5.2 seconds
Today, the TT uses an onboard controller area network (CAN) to link all the sensors and control units so the engine and transmission are privy to what's going on with the brakes, stability control, and other systems. Twelve different sensors help the transmission decide when to shift while running in the automatic- or sport-shift mode (and when to block shifts to prevent overrevving or stalling of the engine when the driver is flicking the shift paddles or rowing the lever manually). All shifts are then performed with perfectly matched engine revs. Gentle launches are comfortable, although experts will note that the wet multiplate clutch doesn't launch quite as imperceptibly as a conventional automatic's torque converter can. RM498,800*
In my opinion, these cars are meant to be owned by the more well to do upper echelon of the population. But we can always dream right? BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Renault, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Lotus, etc. These makes are all good. We dream of driving these engineering masterpieces, and one day we will. Now, we dream.
Who wins this time? Merc SLK 350? Audi TT? BMW sDrive35i? Vote in the poll on the top left corner for the blog.
