Aston Martin DBS V12

Aston Martin has once again hit the lastest James Bond movie!! Quantum of Solace featuring the lastest Aston Martin DBS has once again, without fail, WHOOOD the Bond fans yet again. Seems that Daniel Craig is an awful fan of Aston Martin, as the previous James Bond, Pierce Brosnan used BMW. But as Aston Martin is a British car, it suits James Bond's collection of toys better.

James Bond's Quantum of Solace movie was rather good, typical James Bond lah. The storyline is actually continuing from the previous James Bond movie "Casino Royale". Therefore, which makes many of us get confused with the storyline. Anyways, I'll give it a personal rating of 8.5/10.

Anyways, moving on to the main part of why I blogged..... You guessed it! The Aston Matin DBS V12!!

The latest DBS is a beautiful creation of Aston Martin. G'job Aston Martin! Although, I'm more of a fan of Italian and German Sports Cars, but the DBS is something worth blogging about eh?

The two seater coupe has a bonded aluminium chassis made of lightweight magnesium alloy, carbon fibre composite and aluminium. Which makes the typical British car, unusually light! Nice one! The power of the engine that made partially made Aston Martin an infamous make, comes from the heavily revised handmade 6.0 litre V12 engine. WOW. Never forget, this refined beast's engine is actually hand-made, which gives the car an extra flavour to it, you can't really trust technology completely eh?

This hand-made engine delivers up to 510 bhp (380 kW/517 PS) at 6500 rpm and 420 lb·ft (569 N·m) of torque at 5750 rpm. That's fast. This beautifully made engine allows the car to accelerate 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 307km/h. 307km/h, don't play play play ah.

The DBS is fitted with new vented carbon ceramic brakes discs – a first for a road-going Aston Martin, it reduces unsprung weight by 12.5 kg (28 lb). The front wheels are fitted with 398 mm (15.7 in) diameter carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers. The rear wheels have 360 mm (14.2 in) diameter brakes with four-piston calipers. The double wishbone alloy suspension features an adaptive damper controlled suspension which uses two separate valves to set the dampers to five different positions, allowing instant adjustment of the car’s ride and handling characteristics. In other words, this car prevents unnesesary skidding.

Unfortunately, for those automatic transmission car drivers out there, the DBS only comes with an 6 speed Manual transmission. But to racers, its an advantage, it allows you to control your car's speed better. For example, if you want to cut into a sharp bend of the road/track, lets say you're at 5th speed in the DBS so maybe you're going about 275km/h in the car? for automatic it takes sometime for the transmission to shift from 5th gear, to 4th, to 3rd and vise versa. Then actually limits how you can control you're car's speed. As for manual you can just go from 5th straight to 3rd, if you're cutting to a sharp bend of the road, if you do, that's when the well designed brakes kicks it, and will, reduce the speed of you're car's speed much faster, than using automatic transmission. But, its rather dangerous to do that, because if the braking pressure is too much, then you're tyres will lose traction, therefore if you're planning to do that, get better quality tyres, but i don't think you have to worry about that. Haha.

f

And this wraps up the Aston Martin DBS posts!!! Once again, I thank the Aston Martin engineers and designers for, yet again, creating such a fantastic car. Unfortunately, cars like these are only affordable to the upper echelon of the human population, but maybe, just maybe, when 2011 comes and the promised reduction does really happen..... Well yeah, you can say I have a sense of humour. :)

Dedicated to Hon Wye,
Thanks for reminding me. :)

For those Horny people out there! - Top 10 risks of having sex before marriage

No one doubts that sexual activity in the new millennium is physically, emotionally, and socially dangerous. So it's important to think about all of the ramifications.

10. The risk of death. No one can deny that having sex before marriage can have grave consequences. More than 600,000 cases of AIDS have been reported in the United States since 1981, and as many as 900,000 Americans may be infected with HIV.

"HIV Infection and AIDS," www.onhealth.com, (21 November 2000).

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

1 Corinthians 10:8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did-and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.

9. The risk of lost relationships. When you choose to develop a sexual relationship with someone, you have immediately changed the entire definition of the relationship. God's intent was for a man and woman to enjoy sex throughout the course of a lifetime. There is no such thing as casual sex. Once you have developed a sexual relationship, that relationship turns a critical corner. After the relationship ends, you and your partner will experience that guilt and pain of promises broken.

1 Corinthians 5:9 I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people-

Hebrews 12:16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

8. Risks of incurable disease. Imagine that you have found that one special person with whom you want to share your life. And now you are forced to break the news that you have an incurable disease. Even though such diseases like herpes are generally not considered life threatening, there are no cures. Not only is it incurable, it fills a life with worries, awkward revelations, and continuous need for medication. Herpes and other STD's are everywhere. (Over 50 million cases of Herpes in the U.S. alone.) Why risk contracting an STD.

Romans 1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

1 Corinthians 6:13 "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"-but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

7. The risk of damaging the destiny of your future marriage. There is no way that premarital sex of any kind could be a plus for your future marriage. It only causes suspicion, mistrust, and regret.

Galatians 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

6. The risk of permanently damaging your testimony as a Christian. You'll never be able to honestly say, "I was a virgin before I was married." You'll never be able to live as an example of committed purity.

Romans 13:13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.

1 Corinthians 5:9 I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people-

Ephesians 5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.

5. The risk of depression. Those who participate in premarital sex experience emotional damage that may lead to an increased chance of mental depression and emotional despair.

2 Corinthians 12:21 I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.

Jude 1:7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

4. The risk of placing your future children in spiritual harm's way. The Bible clearly speaks of the concept of generational sin. What you sow (plant) spiritually may be reaped in the life of your children. Break the power of Satan's curse. Remain pure before God and you'll be tenaciously guarding the future of the next generation.

Proverbs 22:8 "He who sows wickedness reaps trouble..."

Proverbs 20:7 "The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him."

Proverbs 14:6 "He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge."

Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her..."

3. The risk of sexual dysfunction. People spend millions of dollars to correct sexual dysfunction through drugs and psychotherapy. Why? Because they entered marriage with unresolved sexual issues. For example, a man may think that he will be free from the curse of pornography once he gets married, only to find that the problems are even more noticeable and controlling. Sexual purity before marriage is the first step to incredible sexual fulfillment after marriage.

Mark 7:21 "For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery,"

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

2. The risk of shame. Premarital sex imputes a spiritual state of shame that becomes a major weapon of Satan. God forgives you, but you will still face the fruit of the sin and you'll still be vulnerable to Satan's whispering accusations on your worth as a person and your value as an active Christian.

1 Corinthians 5:1-2 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father's wife. And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man who did this?

Jude 1:7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

1. The risk of disobeying God and letting Satan get a foothold. The Bible, time after time tells us to flee sexual sins. Why? Because it is a major strategy of the devil to sabotage God's work on Earth.

Matthew 15:19 "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander."

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders...

Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

Revelation 2:14 "Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality."

Revelation 2:20 "Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols."

Revelation 9:21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Revelation 21:8 "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Still think pre-marital sex is cool? Think again!

Sex is something that is created by God, therefore that sexual act is sacred and should be saved for marriage, otherwise you'll have to face the consequences that will be waiting for you. If you're thinking of doing it recently, for you're own sake, reconsider.

Don't let Lust bind you with Satan.

It Has Been Awhile.

It really has been awhile since I posted a proper post. It's really cause, I've run out of ideas. Maybe, I've been relying on tags too much to fill up my blog. Haha, well, I've got something special for you dear readers today.

I'll like to introduce you to one of my favorite hobby that I'm very passionate about, something that I haven't told anyone but some, maybe because I didn't think you'll be interested. Well, I've just got the sudden urge to do a post like this, and I'll taught you guys might be interested in this wonderful hobby of mine. As some of my friend may have noticed I'm not really a typical guy with typical interests, but at the same time, I'm one of the most down to earth guys you've ever met!

Maybe you've had a passion or a hobby like this, when you were a young boy/girl, and always had an interest of you're grandparents or parent's tank filled with water at the corner of the room, which what might seem a decoration. And inside this tank, are certain beautiful creatures that aren't really found in 'longkangs' or in the wild these days, these graceful little cold-blooded animals with beautiful long flowing fins, swimming about in the decorations that have been placed in the aquarium. And you'll always seem to discover some excitement in tapping the tank's glass, to see how these pets might react, or maybe feeding them when you should't be, because (to me)every thing they do, is worth turning heads, and sometimes gawking at their actions are spectacular.

I'm sure you have already guessed it by now, or maybe you're still wondering what I'm bluttering about. Well, I'll keep you in suspense for awhile longer. Some of these creatures, might look like they could glow in the dark, or some may look like suction cups laying motionless in the corner of the tank, or maybe some could look really odd like a balloon or resemble a dead dry leaf, or some are so bright colored they look like gold. Well, wait no longer.

Yes, you guessed it. Fishes. I love fishes. I rear fishes and even breed them. And I just love what ever they do. They never fail to amuse me. And I think they're a worthwhile at least a minute of you're precious time. Maybe you're family used to keep fishes as lovely decorations, or maybe you still do. And I'm sure that aquarium tucked in the corner of you're living room always seem to give you the urge to peek at what those fishes are doing lurking about.

I've been keeping these lovely pets for about 6 years already. Maybe you've never had any interest in these lovely creations of God, but you can count on me that you'll see more of fish-related posts in my blog. Maybe I'll even succeed in tempting you in giving this hobby a shot, or I could even revive and help you discover this hobby's excitement again. :) But until then.....

Don't forget to pop by in my blog again soon!

T.C.I.A. Announcement

I'm pleased to announce that I have been officially transferred to the youth teenage christian organization, known as T.C.I.A. aka Teenage Christians In Action. Formerly known as 'Dan Lo's cell'. This organization or 'cell-group' consists of certain numbers of agents, the specific details of this organization and the personal information of the members of this cell group is highly classified, and may only be known to the high officials of S.I.B.KL and the members of this top secret group of Chris believers. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour over our lives. And through HIM aka GOD, we are but a small family in Christ. We have dedicated our lives to pleasing GOD, and without faith, hope and LOVE, it is an 100 percent impossible to please God. We believe and lay our support an foundation on his WORD, because faith comes from hearing His message, and it is heard through the word of Christ. Merely hearing his Word is never enough, as faith without deeds has no life. Therefore, as a organization of Christian Teenagers In Action, we vow to use our lives for pleasing God and changing lives. We may not be able to change the world, but we can (no doubt) change the world in a person.

We are merely an independant cell group that works for NO ONE, but GOD. We are situated in 6th floor, SIBKL church and gather every saturday, time: 1430. Please do visit our newly furnished blog, and hear future news from our activities in 'Narrowstreet'. Please do drop by, at www.teenagechristiansinaction.blogspot.com UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.

Yours truly,
Code name: Agent Leon Lim Jake-Li.
God Bless You.

The Bible
Moses said to Aaron and his remaining sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, "Take the grain offering left over from the offerings made to the Lord by fire and eat it prepared without yeast besides the altar, for it is the most holy. Eat it in a holy place, because it is your share and your son's share of the offerings made to the Lord by fire; for so I have been commanded. But you and your sons and your daughters may eat the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented. Eat them in a ceremonially clean place; they have been given to you amd your children as your share of the Isrealites' fellowship offerings. ~Leviticus 10:12,13,14
