Sorry yeah. Havent been updating my blog recently. Anyways, the trip to Beijing was a fun one. Last time i went to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tianmen square and all. but this time was different, i went there to accompany me mum for her business trip there, and to join the Olympic fever. There were so many people, especially foreigners, white foreigners, haha. There were like what? Italians, Russians, French etc. (I could recognise their language) Anyways, i've been too many places, wasnt easy to get taxi, as their were all occupied. Anyways, this trip i;ve been to places from the University of Technology Gymnasium where the Badminton Matches were held, Ruins of Jin Dynasty, Tianmen, Beijing Zoo (largest zoo in China-covering 90 hectars) Grand Theater of Beijing, 798 Art centre (wonderfully artistic), Museum of Ancient Architecture, Swiss Exhibition Brand Dinner thingy at 798 and so on( by the way, i saw Roger Federer there :D). So erm, here are some picture. (To cut everything short)

Each pictures took at least 10 mins to upload, unfortunately. -.- Thats why it took quite sometime to update! Anyways, here are just some lah! ~Cheers!

Hey guys, so sorry for not updating my blog during my trip in Beijing. The reason is that, we didnt bring the card reader, so i cant upload any pictures, therefore I found it pointless if i blog without real pictures, and upload later. So forgive me. Once i get back home, I will blog about my journey in Beijing, and with real pictures too. :)

Provided if i upload them. :p

Day 1 - Lee Chong Wei, our national hero. (Beijing)

Hey, its my first day in Beijing, and I already cant wait to go back home. Well, we arrived at the Beijing airport by 7am, we didnt get a good nights sleep, cause the plane was rather stuffy and uncomfortable, we took the economy class. -.- It was an 1 hour drive from the airport to the hotel. And we stayed at the Hilton Doubletree. Then we went for a good breakfast this morning. Then we made a trip to the gym, the gym rather small, small for a gym that is, so 30 mins in the gym and the rest of the hour at the indoor swimming pool. It was great, really. So we didnt plan to go out till the next day, so we stayed at the room the whole afternoon watching sports, and doing our own business. Then came the Badminton Olympics....... Firstly, here's some pictures at KLIA.

Thats Hon by the way. :)

Anyways, we watched the Badminton match with full excitement, hoping Chong Wei will dominate Lin Dan. About 15mins, Chong Wei was more like being dominated by Lin Dan, he read all his moves, and totally reversed most of his tactics. First set was 21-13, then we began to lost hope. Then the second set, was a total nightmare for Chong Wei. Then I just realised, the audience was totally against him, it was Lin Dan's home ground, his territory, where everyone supports him. It kinda looked like Chong Wei didnt try at all, or he was just shaken by the crowd. Anyways, the match ended at 21-8, i think. OHMYGOODNESS. I was as just devastated as the rest of the malaysian badminton enthusiasts watching the big match. I was like flabbergasted at Lin Dan's performance. Chong Wei totally wiped out, it was like he got hit by Hurricane Katrina. "..................."

Anyways, frankly speaking, whatever the odds are against Chong Wei, he is our national hero, he was the only malaysian to make to the finals, he got Malaysia, our country, a medal. And I'm proud of him. I salute to Lee Chong Wei, our national hero.

*SALUTES*

Anyways, Hon says We gotta check in soon. So, i'm signing off from now. Will continue the blog, pictures will be there! BYE. :D Beijing, here i come! FWOOOSHHHH!

The Return of the Olympics with a BIG BANG.

The OLYMPICS are here! Anyone watched the opening ceremony? one word. WOAH! NEVER IN MY LIFE THAT I'VE BEEN SO PROUD TO BE A CHINESE. The opening ceremony were so wondrous, astounding, marvelous, and just INDESCRIBABLE. You know what? I'm just flabbergasted, I was so amazingly astounded, I was speechless, TOTALLY. You should seen the look on my face when my jaws totally dropped to the floor . WOAH!

I was so so proud of China, the most booming country in the world, with economy going through the roof! And you know what? I'm going to Beijing at the 16th (during the olympics), but i'm not going to attend any events though, but i'm still grateful. :)

I have no idea what to write, because theres so much things going through my head now. Well, the opening ceremony was just so GRAND. The season drums, the giant scroll, the dancing, the moving blocks like thing with people in them, the marching of the 200+ countries, the children painting the scroll, the singing, Lang Lang the pianist, and EVERYTHING. It was just so WONDERFUL! To me, the best part was when all the countries were marching out, showing of they're national flag with great pride, being oh so lively, shouting, bring confident, and their hopes of achieving their dreams. WOW! Malaysia were the early ones to come out and was full with joy, because i'm also a very proud malaysian, supporting our malaysian sports representative as much as I can. I support Lee Chong Wei the most as he has most chances at getting Gold for Badminton at the Olympics, and he is my hero, cause I myself am a badminton FAN!

Wow, it was fun, looking at some of the World's Leaders such as George Bush and his wife, Hu Jin Tao, oh yeah! I heard our very own Yang di pertuan Agong of Terengganu was there! Although he wasnt on tv when Malaysia came out.

It was really cool to see people dancing on the blank canvas drawing somewhat scenery, dancing at the same time paint coming out from the tip of their limbs, and people dancing around the globe kinda thing, SPOT ON!

I wonder how is London gonna beat that at the next Olympics at 2012, If they could, then they're opening ceremony is a must watch!

Anyone for more results for the Olympics medal tally? go to http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/INF/GL/95A/GL0000000.shtml

Lastly, to all Olympic participants: All the best, Good Luck, Never give up, and for the Malaysians, MALAYSIA BOLEH!

Cheers.

Just Wasnt My Day.

Hey, i've havent been school for the past 2 days now, am still down with the flu, sighs, *shakes head*. Since i'm so free, i decided to kill time, so i decided to blog abit. Yay, Happy YOU. My brain's turbocharger hasnt kicked it yet, since my nose is blocked, so i dont have enough oxygen. ahah.... Anyways, i just had a unusual and surprising experience the last Sunday. Here goes:

My dad was driving me to Clark Hatch at Mont Kiara for my usual Wing Chun training on his Fiat Coupe. As the highway was rather clear that day, he decided to push the 10-year-old-tin-can sport car to its top speed as we saw a Maserati Grandturismo taunting us, apparently, or so he thinks. After like 3 minutes of suspense, excitement, and dodging slow poke cars (the usual kancils, protons, myvis etc...), we reached 223km/h the cars top speed was 227km/h, so we were almost there, but he noticed the engine's thermometer going ballistic, the Maserati was already 3 meters away when he slowed down to the nearest Shell Petrol Station near the North-South Highway (going towards KL).. Well, to our surprise, the engine was full of steam... alot. And i made trips to the toilet with a bottle to refill the engine's water to and fro, Eventually, he noticed there was a leak, a water leak. Yay me. -.- Turns out, the water pipe burst. Oh great, no training for me. -.- (P/s: I hate maseratis..)

So basically, we were stranded in the Petrol Station for 4 hours, waiting for AAM. Aint our day. Good thing, we had cell phones, otherwise we would be hitch-hiking. Well, we had entertainment. We were admiring a Lamborghini Gallardo (orange one) passing by, kawasaki ninjas, a new Subaru Impreza (hatchback), and we saw a Ferrari F430 Scuderia rufueling petrol at Shell. haha. That was cool. But erm, none of them appealed to me, except for the good-for-nothing Maserati Grandturismo. I'm not a fan, of Maserati but Shammie said that something was missing from my car-crazy blog, so erm, i gonna blog about it. You happy now, Shammie?

Thats the culprit!

The Grandturismo was practically exhibiting its butt to us. -.-

Oooh! Look at that beauty! (Huh, what maserati?)

Still wondering why it was so fast?

A family sports car. Spot on, i must say. :)

Specifications, here we come! Lets see... It bears a 4.2 litre engine that gives a boost of 405 horses, and a torque of 460 NM. Acceleration's is 5.2 seconds to 100km/h, woah, and it'll reach up to a top speed of 285km/h, thats FAST. And wouldnt want to know about the fuel consumption. All this, at a price of 134,000 USD. B*ll*cks! Mind you, I still dont like this car.

Anyways, a shoutout to Sri KDU friends, I'll be back soon. Sorry for being away, teachers. Take care guys, stay healthy.

Same goes for me. :)

Lamborghini's Reventon. Juggernaut of all times, probably its rarest, most expensive and most powerful.

I bet you guys are jolly well curious about the car that Bruce Wayne in "The Dark Knight" was driving. (p/s: by the way, its not a car, mind you, its a JET.)

Into the DNA blender goes Lamborghini's Murcielago modernity, military stealth of a jet fighter and its true potential. Out the other end comes the Reventon-the rarest lambo ever. Prefer the old Lambo LP640? its in the bin over there. The irony is, the Reventon is not made of metal. Lambo's had gone through all that trouble to creat a carbon-fibre masterpiece, and then they had invented a paint, that involved infusing metallic particles, that resembled flat steel. Clever eh?

(this is like kinda the devil-child like thing)

(you'd be surprised thats the only space you get in the car, erm.. i mean jet)

(dashboard that in favours with the car's speed, tells you how fast is the car going, apparently)

No paint job was involved in the making of this masterpiece. ("eh, did i just kicked my footballe against your car?")

(a V12 engine mounted where drivers love it and feel it the most, behind they're ears. blasting out 641bhp)

("I give you my bika for your car, E bene, yes?")

(an exhaust like that gives mother nature a moment of worry)

(If you look closely enough, you'll be able to see the huge brakes in those alloys. they're needed, er.. quite a lot.)

Blimey, arent you impressed? This 1 million euro automobile gives buyers a scorch at their wallets. Believe it or not, only 20 Reventon were built. and those guys with the big fat wallets? one look and in less than 3 months the lambos were all sold. Well, lets get to the details shall we?

The Lamborghini Murcielago Reventon has a 6.5litres engine, with V12 cylinders, and reaches 100km/h from 0km/h that same time as its brother (Lambo Murcielago LP640)-3.4 seconds. The Reventon is capable of reaching over 300km/h. And horsepower output would be 641 british horsepower.

Has Lamborghini given the world another legend? Car enthusiasts say "yes", and in the end of the day, if it were possible, i'll give a pat at the backs of the Lamborghini engineers and say "you've done it again".
